Travel through the remarkable journey that shaped our country and was paramount to establishing our nation’s civil rights. Visit includes the orientation film and a museum overview by a museum docent or staff person.

Voices: Stories from the Journey is the museum’s interactive audio tour of the core exhibition. During the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to hear about the Maryland African American journey from a variety of individuals who shared their stories and perspectives as part of the museum’s oral history project.

Cost: $2 with group admission
Group Size: Up to 30 people; subject to availability
The museum offers guided tours of the permanent and temporary exhibitions to help you make the most of your visit. Your visit includes the orientation film, museum overview and a guided tour led by a trained docent or a museum staff person. Guided tours are available at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., please schedule four to six weeks in advance.
