Vedet Coleman and Erin Smith, Summer 2005 Interns

"As interns, we made a commitment to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture, the Collections and Exhibitions Department, the Baltimore Chapter of the Girl Friends, Inc., and finally the public, to complete this project without using the museum‚s resources for personal gain. Our mission was to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Baltimore Chapter of the Girl Friends Inc. and to educate the public about the historic importance and the many accomplishments that members of this organization contributed to the Baltimore community."
