We invite you to be part of the campaign for the Reginald
F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History &
Culture. Your support will help to successfully complete
this historic undertaking and, in turn, inspire thousands
of people throughout Maryland and beyond.
As a donor, you can contribute
to one of the museums existing funds or create a new
fund that reflects your interests and the mission of the
museum.
Unrestricted gifts provide the greatest flexibility and
allow the museum to identify and respond to the changing
needs of the organization. Contributions to this fund will
be used for educational programs, acquisitions and collection
expansions, new programs, building maintenance and operating
costs.
This endowment secures the future of the museum. While the
principle is restricted in perpetuity, the interest income
supports critical programs as well as the operation of the
museum.
Field-of-Interest Restricted Funds
These funds are used to support programs that reflect the
donors individual interests, such as children and
families, education, art, history, conservation, culture
and community outreach.
With a gift or the statement of intent to leave a gift to
the museum through a bequest, charitable trust, life insurance
or other planned contribution, participants provide a legacy
of excellence to support programs for future generations.
We are pleased to work with you in determining how you wish
to support the museum. The information below is intended
as a guideline only. You are encouraged to consult with
your financial advisor before making a contribution. For
