Presentation: Threads of Time, the Fabric of History

Author Rosemary E. Reed Miller and fashion industry expert Paula Brooks discuss African American women in the world of fashion, and present a mini fashion show. Paula’s mother, Pauline Brooks, was the first African American woman in the Baltimore area to own a retail store featuring women’s clothing and accessories.
