381 Days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story was developed and organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the Troy University Rosa Parks Library and Museum. This exhibition has been made possible through the generous support of AARP. Sponsored in part by the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences.

Rebel Music: A Celebration for the People

is a tribute to the legacy of protest and courage featured in the Smithsonian's 381 Days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story exhibition. The night features an interactive presentation fusing live music, djs, vocalists and poetry and closes out with a party featuring soul, hip hop, Afrobeat, reggae and soca.

Cost: Free for Museum members, $15 Non-members,
$10 Students with I.D. (21 and Over)

An international marketplace, African dancing and drumming,
gift-making craft stations for children and educational presentations that demonstrate the seven principles of Kwanzaa are all part of the museum’s annual Kwanzaa celebration.
