Lewis, who was chair and chief executive officer of TLC Beatrice International, the largest U.S. company owned by an African American during his lifetime.

Author and Wealth Coach Deborah Owens shares seven principles to achieve personal financial goals. Ms. Owens hosts “Wealthy Lifestyle Radio” a personal finance talk show on WEAA 88.9 FM in Baltimore, MD.

Cultural Economics: Black Historical and Financial Wealth*
Join historian Anthony T. Browder and learn how African Americans can build wealth. Browder is the author of four publications, including From the Browder File: 22 Essays on the African American Experience and Nile Valley Contributions to Civilization.

Civic Frame & The Reginald F. Lewis Museum Present Adam Clayton Powell & Chisholm ‘72-- Unbought & Unbossed: A Mini-Film Festival
This event features two award-winning documentaries about historical leaders Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. and Shirley Chisolm. After the films, a panel of
politicians, activists, and scholars explore how race, gender, class, power, and personalities shaped black political agency during the civil rights era.

Dr. Robert Steele, director of the David C. Driskell Center at the University of Maryland, College Park, discusses the cultural significance of prints by Romare Bearden and other African American artists. He will also discuss collecting African American art prints.

From the Heart: An Afternoon of Heart Health and Education for the Entire Family

The University of Maryland Medical System offers fun, heart-healthy activities for the family including cooking demonstrations, free health screenings, educational sessions on cholesterol, blood pressure, stroke, diabetes prevention and more!
