A wonderful salute to legendary jazz and R&B vocalist Phyllis Hyman. Spice Band features dynamic vocalist Debbie Poole who brings her incredibly unique and dazzling vocals to classic Phyllis Hyman songs such as “Meet Me on the Moon” and “The Answer Is You.”

Join Hari Jones, Curator of the African American Civil War Memorial in Washington, D.C. and learn how Baltimore’s Pratt Street became the site of mob violence when Union troops headed for D.C. were attacked by local citizens in April of 1861.
